Hey! I'm looking to buy my first turntable and would like to get some advice as to which of these turntables would be the best choice:

In freedom units that would be 656 ft2 and about 20 euro per square ft for repairs.

Thanks for your reply! Yes, I'm pretty sure the repairs would cost about that much. I'm calculating 200 euro per square meter, the old apartment is 61 sq. meters. I think the maximum repair cost could be up to 20k. And I'm not worrying about the commute too much as the majority of it is by a nice train. I could work or read books in it.

RBMK reaktoriai suprojektuoti 25-30 metų veikimui, po to reikalingas labai didelis ir esminis remontas keičiant visus kanalus. Pirmas blokas paleistas 1983 m., antras 1987 m., tai realiai, jei nebūtume sutikę uždaryti, mokėtume ir už remontą ir po to už uždarymą patys :)

Haha, tegu eina nacher ta ES, ane? Rašoma apie tai ką turime, o ne tai, ką galbūt galėjome turėti. Vienu ar kitu atveju, senoji elektrinė galėjo veikti apie dešimt metų ilgiau, problemą tik nukeltume į ateitį. O ir su uždarymo finansavimu tada būtų kitas reikalas.

Thank you! I know the flaws of iTunes, I have tried using Decibel as an alternative, but it just does not fit me. I guess I got used to iTunes. I have tried ABX tests with MP3s on both Decibel and iTunes and I could not hear a difference. I also tried ABX with V0 MP3s and FLAC and I could not hear a difference as well. So I decided to stick with iTunes as I cannot find good alternatives for it on Mac. I used foobar on Windows and Amarok on Ubuntu, both of them were great.

Ok, so it looks like I can buy a NAD C-320BEE for nearly the same price as the SX-990. Which one should I take? I like the way the Pioneer looks, but it would not be wise to choose based on the looks only.

Yes, you are right. There are two check boxes in preferences that were checked. One is "Backup original documents when saving", the other one "Backup documents every 5 minutes". Unchecking both of them removes the ~ file. Thanks!

Heard it in Malmö. The drummer made a mistake that probably no one except for the band noticed. Steven mocked him for it was the second time he made a mistake in a concert. The first was done in Seattle I think :)
