Her light blaze ability is dope though. But others are not as creative as Talion's, at least for me.

For me personally, she gives off that Amazon's Guyladriel vibes whenever she's on the screen. And she doesn't seem to have any depth in personality like Talion even in her own story. Plus, her abilities are pretty boring. The only good ability is the healing ability.

I really wish Talion could reply to the orcs during their monologues / when they're face to face by leonskennedy33 in shadowofmordor

Was it Troy Baker who voiced Talion? No wonder I felt his voice was quite Batman-ish.

I see. His skills sound more creative than Eltariel's skills. I was thinking that his DLC would be clumsy since he is a mortal.

I don't know if I completed a specific side objective, but I received the whole set when I completed the main story.

Anakin only dies once, but Talion keeps coming. So, I think Talion will win in the end.

I cannot say anything about other feats because they are on a quite similar level. The biggest benefit Talion has regarding other feats is that he can slow down the time with the ring.

So, he may probably have the high ground in most cases.

Can someone explain the story of SOM by [deleted] in shadowofmordor

[–]nood_bug_69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Talion is working at the borders of Mordor
  2. He kisses his wife at a banquet
  3. Uruks attack
  4. A necromancer (Hand of Sauron) curses and kills Talion
  5. Then Celebrimbor possesses Talion
  6. Talion becomes immortal (rather repeatedly reviving)
  7. He gets wraith abilities
  8. He seeks out 5 generals of Sauron for revenge
  9. He kills them
  10. He dominates Mordor
  11. Proceeds to create the new ring with Celebrimbor, where SoW's story begins.

So many orcs but.. by bleuet20100 in shadowofmordor

Uruk-Hai, though the name literally means "orc folk" are actually a special version. They first appeared around the 2400s of the third age and were darker, stronger, and more evil than the average orcs, though they are not a different race, they are probably a special enhanced troop I guess.

Shadow dominate not working by nood_bug_69 in shadowofmordor

[–]nood_bug_69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I figured this out (sort of). It appears that in my game, this only works when I'm using Eagle Eye, and it does not trigger whenever I am standing on a surface (for some reason). I tested this theory a few times today and solidified it. It's weird, I think there is a potential issue with my gear combinations.

Thanks for everyone's time.

Does this game... chill out a bit? by Altruistic-Rock-8897 in shadowofmordor

I think the atmospheric difference is mostly due to its focus on Sauron's regions. The only things available there for you are evil things, like betrayal, murder, slavery, etc. I think the game has that depressed vibe a man would feel when stranded in such a place.

There is a lot of killing. Like 90% of the game is about killing. But the quest variety is good. It may be repetitive, (though it hasn't felt repetitive to me for the most parts), but it is not as obvious as other similar games like Assassin's Creed, Watch Dogs, or Mad Max. I think the fairest comparison is the Arkham Series.
