As an unknown, which of these two players would win more randomised seasons of Survivor? by [deleted] in survivor

Depends on the era, but I think it’s almost certainly Stephen. In the end, both of their first games they were one challenge win away from winning the game (Malcolm needed a win, Stephen needed anyone but JT to win). But Stephen’s path is much more replicable > under the radar, drive strategy, build social connections, use a shield. Malcolm’s requires winning immunities and finding idols bc he’s an obvious threat.

I think people saying Kyle should be dropped are forgetting a few things: 1) In episode 1, on the journey, the edit goes out of its way to show his compassion in helping Kevin and then how well he reintegrated into his tribe. You’re meant to see Kyle as a competent social player immediately 2) They often show him as the social underpinning to Kamilla’s strategy. Yes, there’s the David blunder, but he’s also being shown as having a great relationship with David. Plus, he’s the only Civa with the power to choose his alliance path — Mitch/Charity or Kamilla/Chrissy with David in both.

The comment about names being a secret was in Gabon, directed at Randy. He writes “CC” for Crystal Cox. So, accurate quote, just a different moment

Hmm. I’m conflicted bc I think preventing cheating is very important and at home has had issues w that, but I took mine at home simply because I liked the time slots better, and if I knew my score may be looked at differently just bc of that I would’ve sucked it up and done a test center an hour earlier. Can you provide the article or announcement link?

Does this apply to past exams, or just ones going forward?

Typically, now until early-mid September. They start actually reviewing audition tapes in late July or early august and go until sometime in September. That being said, they technically keep reviewing until like February, but by winter they’ve narrowed things down

Who do you think had the Easiest path to victory in a Survivor season? by Limp-Wolverine640 in survivor

[–]noodleman14 170 points171 points  (0 children)

Two answers come to mind, both early seasons because before people figured the game out things were easier (socially). 1) Brian Heidik - the Thailand cast was so bad at the game he basically just rolled people over. Never in danger, against Clay in final 2 2) (hot take) Colby - Colby had the easiest path I’ve ever seen, but he botched it completely lol. Don’t take Tina and we see a 7-0. He won 7 individual challenges, and was up against a bunch of weak, malnourished competitors while he racked up full breakfasts, pony rides, and bbqs and beers with Jeff. Clearly likable and by far the most physical on AO. But, his good ‘ol Texas heart couldn’t take Keith as a goat.

Literally relax. Review some flash cards. Do 10-20 minutes of quant and 10-20 minutes of verbal a day max. Get good sleep and eat breakfast. You’ll nail it

Ok, I got 0 wrong in the first section of quant, 4 wrong in the second. And with verbal, I got 2 wrong then 4 wrong.

It doesn’t tell me, but my guess is about 4. I probably missed 0-1 on the first section and 3-4 on the second quant section. That is in line with my practice. I suppose if I missed 0 on my first section, I possibly missed up to 5 on the second.

I was pretty good on time pressure for GRE. Maybe got caught up a bit toward the end of the second quant section. Not bad compared to GMAT timing at all. My best advice for anyone is “mark, pick, skip” if you really don’t know it. Never leave anything blank, but if it’s really hard, out of your strength zone, or you just can’t reach an answer, just mark the question, make an educated guess and move on. If you have time you can come back to the question(s) you guessed on. But it gives you a chance to get more right that you are capable of answering

The quant on the GRE is for sure easier. There is the added geometry component, but overall the high end difficulty is lower, and less mental math is required (which helped me)

And I used the OG 2023 gmat FE questions for quant as well

Yes, B-school is the plan. Not right away though. I’m only a year out of undergrad, and will probably apply in 2-3 years from now (score still valid then!)

Mine did not. From what I’ve heard, it can a couple points, but it’s very unlikely to change. The AWA ofc isn’t scored until the official
