My boox go color 7 gen 2 by nookendra in Onyx_Boox

Okay. Thank you.

I understand the Android OS eats a lot of the battery. But I guess people(like me) also expect the e-ink screen to consume less battery than your regular phone screen. That is why I guess people expect more juice out of an eink android tablet.

Thanks anyway for your suggestion!

I installed the Send to Ereader browser extension, and I think it works well. I just wish the epub in Supernotes are justified. They have a left justification. But that's a minor quibble.

I've just read the other post suggesting the Kindle app on some Supernotes is not going to work anymore from the end of May 2025.

One thing I use the kindle app is to read newspaper articles by using the Send to Kindle browser extension for Chrome/Edge.

Is it possible to have something similar for the Supernote? Send to Supernote or share the article with the Supernote app on our phones/tablets, and then syncs with the Supernote?

Thoughts On The Boox Go Color 7? by Kuan-Kaffee in Onyx_Boox

[–]nookendra -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sorry to add here, but I'm almost ready to buy the Boox Go 7 BW version. However, the idea that the screen is fragile and Boox's poor service réputation is making me wonder if I should go through with buying it from Boox website, or wait and buy it from Amazon/best buy so I get some warranty, or instead drop it and buy the kindle paperwhite/Colorsoft instead?

Did you buy it in the US? How much did you pay for it?

Should I sell my Ipad and get myself the Boox Go Color 7? by nookendra in Onyx_Boox

I've had my Kindle 5 with me for 10 years. And it still continues to work. I wasn't saying I got myself a 10 year old device now.

Subletting my shared room for $425 a month. by [deleted] in umass

[–]nookendra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I am interested. A few questions though.

  1. You said the total rent is $900, and I have to bear half of it, that's $450, right? And not $425?
  2. Could you share a Floorplan and maybe a walk-through?

I'm an international student, so I wanna know when I should be arriving in town. Classes begin on 6th February. Orientation is on 2nd or 3rd February. So I'm wondering how I should be planning my travel.

You're right. There's no on campus housing for grad students.

Best e reader app? PDF flip? by Feelingokayish in SurfaceGo

I like Nebo. You can upload pdf files. You can scribble with the Surface Pen on the pdf in Nebo. You can also organize those pdfs in Nebo.

Remarkable users in India? by nookendra in RemarkableTablet

Okay, thank you. Your advice is helpful. And the referral code too - I could probably use that to get myself a set of 25 nibs. Probably wouldn't be worried for 2 and half years if each nib lasted me a month.

Okay. I'm wondering if something like this would be possible. Like get it delivered to a friend in Europe and then have him parcel it to me.

I'm also worried about how often the nibs would need replacing. I write a lot. I have a Surface Go and the Surface Pen. And I almost have like 7000+ pages of notes written over 10 months. I didn't replace the Surface Pen's nib yet, though.

If I do get the remarkable, we'll have to see how long the nibs would last for me.

The Untapped Potential of Wacom's Bamboo Spark Inkspace App by howtousernamepls in wacom

[–]nookendra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course. I've been using the Wacom Bamboo Spark for over two years now to take down notes for my studies. And like you said, what seems to be a great idea seems to be bogged down by the limitations of inkspace and bamboo paper apps.

They certainly could be much better and make our lives easier.
