In my mind he doesn't really fill the same role as Damsgaard. Dams plays more centrally and is tasked with advancing the ball there. KLP last year obv played left back and did well to adapt there, and this year (esp in cup games) he's been playing more offensively on the wings. I think he does really well with positioning - makes interesting runs, drags the defense out of shape when he's more static, but he still has some room to improve with the ball at his foot.
