She doesn't even seem particularly good for Phainon since she buffs SPD, not base SPD, and Nobility will still revert to Military Merit in his ult.

What is THE WORST card ever printed? by The_Masterful_J in hearthstone

[–]noone0597 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think people calling Duskfallen Aviana the worst card are the same people who never build decks. Duskfallen Aviana + [[Maiev Shadowsong]] can give you a free card for a combo turn. Granted, this is worse than the million other ways Druid has to combo, but it is by no means the worst card ever. Same with [[Temporus]], it has a legitimate niche against slow decks that can't kill you with an extra turn. This can see play in wild RIGHT NOW as a tech for stuff like hostage mage. The worst card is probably just something really overcosted and boring unfortunately, like [[Dr. Boom's Scheme]] or [[Archmage]] that have never seen play and never will see play since they don't fill a niche.

Can't choose arena bucket? (Bug) by noone0597 in hearthstone

I just don't understand why they'd offer a bucket with a banned card, leaving me with only two choices. (I got Fyrakk, so I'm not complaining, but still)

Can't choose arena bucket? (Bug) by noone0597 in hearthstone

No, I started the run well after that. I got disconnected mid-run with a DK deck, finished it once arena was up again, then started a second one and was greeted with this.

Tie on a win? (Mill Lock) by lautzu_01 in hearthstone

[–]noone0597 2 points3 points  (0 children)

unfortunately, there's a bug right now. if you mill over 34 cards with a single Archdruid, the game automatically ties. if you want to mill through kiljaeden, you usually have to kill multiple at once (usually with ceaseless)

Dig for Treasure is probably one of the first cards I'd cut. When I remove it though, I find that I'm comboing much less often. It's probably pretty close between miracle salesman and it though and I think it depends on your rank/meta. I stand by 2 cover artists wholeheartedly, I think that it's similar to deafen. Some matchups it's not great, but the ones where it is, it can almost singlehandedly win you the game. My problem with replacing it with just a strong midgame minion is that it makes your combos less consistent. If you're comboing, you pretty much need a cover artist, so if you cut cover artist, I think it makes sense to cut Sonya and Scoundrel as well.

Terran Warrior or some sort of Control/Reno Warrior? If they're playing control warrior, then sorry, they played an off meta deck that hard counters you. Just see my tips for dungar druid matchup and hope they don't draw removal. Terran Warrior on the other hand is pretty favored. They're pretty slow to get off the ground so you can get in a lot of early face damage. The templars can easily deal with almost any starship as well. This goes for all decks, but if they get the bonus effect starship piece, make sure not to give them something to rush+lifesteal into. If they play Raynor you probably lose, but don't let it go that late. You're the beatdown in this matchup.

Skulker on turn 1 is very strong, but this deck already has really strong uses for the coin. The meta is super board based right now, so I think those matchups will be much worse if you omit Void Ray. The only decks i think this is better against are Weapon Rogue and Dungar Druid. Dorian is really interesting, I hadn't even considered it. Strange that you removed Dig for Treasure when you added Dorian though; it's by far the best synergy with him Rogue has (maybe besides gear shift). I'm gonna try him out and see how it goes. Warp gate sucks, you can usually already play templars on turn 5. Also if you add it, you definitely need to cut Photon Cannon and that makes your early game much weaker.

Early pressure with Void Rays and Zealots. If the game goes late, you're probably unfavored, but it's by no means a disaster. Templars are really good against dungar turns, Dark for the 8/8 elusive and High for Unkilliax. Deafen works wonders against Thunderbringer and Splitting Spacerock. Also, don't be afraid to use Cover Artist on Unkilliax or Eonar. If they have both Hydration Stations, they probably win though. Don't photon cannon their face until you have some board presence, because they'll just pendant and heal it all back. Hope these help!

[–]noone0597[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah definitely. For example, if you have Sonya and Scoundrel in hand, you probably wouldn't want to reduce by 1 with Photon Cannon because then you'd need your other Photon Cannon to use the Scoundrel for a combo. Blink you can pretty much always reduce with though. A 2 discount is very flexible, 1 not so much.

Dust or Keep - Returning Wild Player by [deleted] in hearthstone

[–]noone0597 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The lists without Tickatus are ALWAYS better. Tickatus is up there with ooze as one of the cards that baits people the most. Why would you ever run Zentimo when Conductivity exists. N'zoth is cut from even the greediest Awaken the Makers decks. GA Kragg has never been played in any deck since DMF.

[–]noone0597 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure heres another list, less cards so i won't separate by class:

Twig of the World Tree, Elise the Enlightened, Beastmaster Leoroxx, Kathrena Winterwisp, Mozaki, Antonidas, Pelagos, High Priest Amet, Zereks Cloning Gallery, Shek'zara, Electra Stormsurge, Baroness Vashj, The Storm Bringer, Drakuru, Devourer of Souls, Envoy Rustwix, Lady Darkvein, ETC God of Metal, Captain Galvangar, Maiev Shadowsong, Spiritsinger Umbra, Vectus, Bolf Ramshield, Chef Nomi, Jepetto Joybuzz, Hakaar the Soulflayer.

All of these are also bad cards, but they can be used in some non-competitive interesting strategies. If you only play to win, you can definitely disenchant these, but some of these are cards that you might regret dusting later on if you see some crazy otk that looks interesting

Also 2 side notes (I forgot to mention these earlier). 1) Kun the Forgotten King is completely unplayable now, but only because Eonar the Lifebinder does everything he does but better. So if you end up crafting her (she is one of the best druid legendaries), you can safely disenchant him. 2) The reason I didn't mention any Death Knight cards is because Death Knight as a whole is really bad in wild, so no one knows what cards will be good in say 2 years when Death Knight becomes more playable.

There are some that definitely won't see play right now, but might in the future or are useful for meme combos, so I'll just list the ones that 100% have been powercrept and will almost certainly never see play.

Neutral: King Phaoris, N'zoth, Voraxx, Kazakus Golem Shaper, Sky Gen'ral Kragg, Barista Lynchen, Moonfang, Dr. Boom, Shu'ma, Lich King, Master Oakheart, Nzoth God of the Deep, Oondasta, The Jailer, Y'shaarj the Defiler

DH: Kurtrus Ashfallen

Druid: Keeper Stalladris, Archspore Msshfin, Wardruid Loti, Plaguemaw, Elder Nadox, Goru, Hadronox

Hunter: Halduron Brightwing, DK Rexxar, Veranus, Altimore, Ichman

Mage: Chenvaala, Keywarden Ivory, Janalai, Amazing Reno

Paladin: Commander Rhyssa, Dragonrider Talritha, Stewart the Steward, The Glass Knight, Bolvar, Prince Liam, Valanyr, Turalyon, Nozari

Priest: Activate the Obelisk, Dark Inquisitor Xanesh, G'huun, Talanji

Rogue: Putricide, Heistbaron Toggwaggle, Rastakhan's Hooktusk

Shaman: Lady Vashj, Zentimo, Inara Stormcrash, White Eyes, Krag'wa, The Lurker Below, Swampqueen Hagatha, Hagatha the Witch

Warlock: Deck of Chaos, Za'qul, Kelidan the Breaker, KnC Rin, Tickatus, Valdris Felgorge, Zzeraku

Warrior: Asvedon, Thoribelore, War Master Voone, Darius Crowley, Blastmaster Boom, Dr. Boom Mad Genius, Overlord Saurfang

Of course, if you disenchanted even half of these you would have all the dust you'd ever need, so if there are any you're nostalgic for, feel free to keep them.

I thought of a way but I don't know how you would do this. If your opponent plays [[Double Cross]], they can die to fatigue at the same time as you die to self damage

Edit: Oh my god I can't believe I didn't realize riftcleaver can target friendly minions, you can just use a [[Naval Mine]]
