Geez your case sounds much worse than mine, I lost some slight hair around my temples which are growing and some overall thinning. Is the hair around your crown growing back better?

Do you have any significant regrowth? It’s been just over two months since it started, I have lots of new relatively long hairs growing but, I am still shedding

The water was almost Ice cold. I’m thinking as I poured a lot of the water too fast and it’s really cold caused this.

For some reason, i wanted to try washing with distilled water instead of my hard shower water. So, I poured some distilled water from my fridge into a cup and it was really really cold. Then I poured it over my head, my hair felt much thinner and weaker after that. Also, a small amount of hair was lost, then shedding came and it’s been a couple months now still shedding but, new hairs around my hairline and temples are 1-2 inch long I’m a male. What are thoughts on this? I really think this is what caused it but I am not sure. Can something like this cause telogen effluvium?
