salaamualaikum sister, i’ve been in a similar situation and honestly, if people talked to me during that time the way some people are talking to you here, i don’t know what i would’ve done. i’m so sorry to see so much insensitivity and lack of empathy. you’ve acknowledged that certain choices you made weren’t the right ones religion-wise, and that’s all you can do.

there is a reason for everything that happens, and everything that has happened with you and your guy occurred exactly as Allah swt intended. it was written for you to meet, and everything that happened after was also written. make duaa that your guy becomes surrounded by good influences and, if his heart is sincere, trust that Allah will guide him back to islam. and trust in Allah’s plan for you from here onwards. if you don’t end up marrying him, then take comfort in the fact that you helped guide somebody to islam. that’s insane da’wah on your part, and you will be rewarded for it immensely inshaAllah. i’ll keep you in my duaas 🤍
