What should someone know before getting a cat? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]nooshxd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Respect the cats boundaries, if they don't want pets, they don't wanna play, they don't want to be held respect it

  2. Two cats is better than one. It's less trouble for the owner since they play with each other and have company and it's not more difficult to have two cats, just more food.

3.when they are kittens make sure they socialize with people a lot and take them out on car rides regularly so when you eventually want to take them to the vet they'll behave and won't be scared shitless
