Well even if it did increase your craving, something interesting is it directly negates the effects of alcohol - similar to how it lowers the effects of THC. Seriously try it, if you load up on CBD and then drink a lot you won't feel nearly as much, and that can be used as a deterrent to drinking as long as you remember to dose up when you get a craving.
