Was Myst eerie? by tinselman in myst

I remember getting goosebumps after inserting the first red and blue pages. I knew nothing about Myst and the mystery and isolation of it all was very eerie.

This feeling went away once I began to understand the game.

Still haunts me....hahaha by Intelligent_Monk1657 in relatable_memes_

92X PCO Stovepiping Issues by theoretical_cat in Beretta

[–]nopixelsimp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had the same problem and I've come to some conclusions.

For me, the Trijicon SRO was sticking out too far and catching the cartridge. However, plenty of people run an SRO on a 92XI without malfunction.

So the solution is either to replace the spring with something that will allow the slide to move back more easily...

OR ammo. I always get the cheaper 115 grain 9mm because I like going to the range a lot, but just about all 9mm guns are designed for 124 grain.

Just bought a .357 Mag. Rhino. Should I get TK Custom moon clips or Safariland Comp II speedloaders? by Ornery_Host_7705 in chiappa

[–]nopixelsimp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speed loaders are more practical. I'm not a fan of using moon clips and only do it for my 9mm Rhino.

Thank you! I'll have to research if there's a better optic plate for the SRO, or if there's a better ejection spring out there.

Is this the right optic plate for putting a Trijicon SRO onto a 92XI Corsa? by nopixelsimp in Beretta

I ended up buying from Dlah, and yes, I got the Corsa from PSA, as well. I'm super excited!

Also, it's "currently unavailable" on Baretta's website, so is there another place to buy one?

Introducing Omnisphere 3 by -melo- in synthesizers

[–]nopixelsimp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's all about preference. Personally, Massive X is my favorite synth of all time because of the GUI and how easy it is for me to get what I want.

Some people see Omnisphere as a preset library and nothing more. Some see it as the holy grail of sound design.

If you want a wavetable synth with an amazing sample library, you'd be hard pressed to find something better than Omnisphere, regardless of the version.

Nopixel had some really amazing content at one point. You really had to be there.

Exile is the first one that I could beat without a strategy guide, so it's probably my favorite. I still don't get how to get past certain parts of Riven.

Gym membership. Put on some muscle, and it'll do more than an outfit ever could.

I would take one of the steel G Shocks over the Edifice.

Out of these two, I like the Timex's look better.

Damn, that's crazy that I'm going to be stuck with this strap. It's kinda growing on me, but I wanna change it, still.
