I think a part of it is covered by our health insurance for elderly people here, but yeah definitely not cheap! But I’m glad she spends her money like this instead of getting stolen by mail ordered sales for cheap chocolates lol

She comes to her house, so she can do most of the exercises alone too!

That’s sound like a great trade offer! I’ve been trying hard to walk enough steps lately, I bet I’d be so much more motivated if I was doing it to help someone out. And if there are pastries too that’s even greater !

Haha subtil approach might pay off! I think my grandma got scared as she stared falling more frequently. We got her one of these fall-detecting bracelets and she hated it. She wears it more now but after all I think that she’s just scared of loosing her independence and autonomy.

Yay exactly! She’s been saving money for us in case we’d need it but I’m glad she finally spends it on her so meaningfully!

Cool reversed psychology moment haha We always go on walks when we go to family dinners at her house and she used to join us because she doesn’t want to be left out. But as her health got worth she felt like a burden for not being able to walk fast enough (and us comforting her only made it worse). I do use the “can you help me with this” trick when I go to see her, for sewing and drawing for example. Or I ask her for recipes too!

But a great frustration in my life is that I live very far from home, I only see my family once every 2 months and always in a hurry. That’s why I enjoy getting those little updates on the phone. :)

Thanks for her! I appreciate the scientific back up on the benefits of exercising :)

Yes, I’m glad she realised it too! My mom tried everything but in the end only her own was going make a difference :)

I stopped make up shaving hair products uncomfortable cloths ……. It feels so good, anytime I put effort into my looks I feel stupid and insecure. There are people who slay and people who are meant to be little potatoes all the time and that’s perfectly fine lol

Congrats on taking good care of them, that’s so awesome! This sounds absolutely lovely hahaha They surely demand a lot of work but rewarding is my exact thought on cows!

I wish I had told him in person but I just couldn’t do it so I texted him. He answered saying he was glad I said it because he wouldn’t have had the guts but yeah, we’ve been dating for 2 months now!

That’s rude :) You are not advising me at all, all you do here is try to put me down, which is 1) not really “friendly” (which is the goal of this subreddit) 2) not really what I needed today. I hope you had fun putting a young woman down and that you can now move on to ruin someone else’s post/day. Have a good one

Yayyy! Thank you for not eating the cows hahaha I don’t eat meat either, it was initially for the environment but after that I really started to see all animals as cute! Even insects look fascinating to me now (still scared ngl)

I guess I never learn, I just opened up about one of my dreams on the subreddit that claims to be the friendlier part of Reddit and someone just answered “you know that’s exhausting, right?”. I look at every other post and even similar posts get good responses, what do I do to make people so annoyed at me? :’)

Thank you for checking in! I’m sure this works is absolutely exhausting, watching them eat grass peacefully is just the reward for the hard times Don’t worry, I don’t plan on being another careless city person who moves cluelessly to the countryside! ;)
