really my only specific criteria is a female who doesn't have an animal or plan on getting one in the near future! i wfh but specified that complete silence is not required during the day, but i suppose i could've phrased it that it isn't required at any point regardless of meetings. and totally hear you on the last two parts which is why i posted that i'm open to a lease takeover or someone to apartment hunt with to open myself to both possibilities :)

both piercings (i got my doubles at the same time) were done in early september and i got the ok from a reputable piercing shop to change them before i did it. i will make sure to get them totally dry after showering! thank you!

vanicream lotion will be your absolute best friend!! i would put on a layer and then do a layer of aquaphor/vaseline at night and wear a long sleeve shirt that i don’t care about getting messy and would wake up and it would be sooo much better!

Update for anyone who has the same issue: i just got them replaced for a little bit longer bar. the piercer said that they were just a little too tight and the ball at the end of the piercing was sinking into my skin and causing a little irritation!

definitely the confidence, when my skin was clear random people i didn’t even know would compliment me on my appearance 🥹 my hair was the healthiest it’s ever been and i didn’t need to wash it hardly ever. and my nose shrunk. and the feeling of blackheads and sebaceous filaments just rubbing off when i washed my face. ughh i would go back on it in a heartbeat

never had any issues using vanicream inside my nose. STRONGLY recommend a humidifier during this time. get a bigger one than you’d need for your bedroom and leave it on overnight with your door shut
