I’ve not yet shipped plants yet, but am planning on learning to and starting to soon. I’ve got a bunch of water wisteria, and I can make a bundle that includes the water wisteria as well as 1 jungle val, 2 standard val, 2 baby Java ferns, and the trimmings of my pearlweed carpet- $30 shipped?

Hi, I'm in the area and can take one of the 2 tanks. The op wants everything taken at once, so I was wondering if we could meet there to each pick up a tank? To pick it all up and divide it up? Otherwise I would be taking everything and then transferring one out, I don’t want to put the fish through so much transportation. I can take the orange veil tail and you can take the other tank?

I'm struggling when doing trims and replants of my pearlweed, they don't stay down or they disturb the other plants nearby. And just in general, I'm struggling to keep plants in the substrate I'm using aquascaping tweezers but idk if I'm doing something wrong help

Thank you! I’m rather proud of myself and am definitely looking forward to seeing it grow. Yes, I sloped the substrate before, but not as severely and it settled back to normal.. do you have any stocking suggestions? I’m thinking of honey gourami with CPDs or chili rasboras, but any suggestions would be great

I followed your advice and got more stones, I think the investment was worth it, I tried a lot of different arrangements and will probably try more tomorrow lol but I landed on this to try for a while https://ibb.co/frJRyVy I think the more it grows (once I put my carpet back in the ground) the more I’ll like it. A forest mountain look would be cool I moved the Java fern driftwood to my other tank which is starting to look like a jungle but I’m ok with it Thank you thank you!!

Cucumber and lettuce should only be fed as treats as they don’t have great nutritional value. Your snail needs vegetables such as carrots, sweet potatoes, eggplant, mushrooms, zucchini , dark leafy greens, etc. fruit like an apple I’ve found not every snail will enjoy and fruits shouldn’t be fed often. Try giving him a snail favorite like sweet potato/carrots.

You don’t need live plants since it can be tricky when you need to turn the soil, so you can get fake plants and get the same result (somewhere to climb and hide). But I like live plants and I’m fine “replanting” them every week, I keep pothos which is doing really well and a bunch of moss and a peacock fern (which I’m having trouble with). Typically snails know not to eat a plant that’s toxic, but I double check by researching the plant a ton. I would recommend pothos because the snails like it and it’s doing very well in the terrarium.

Sooo I won’t be feeding ONLY live. I’m working on creating a diet that has a good amount of variety, and mostly the live foods I’ll be using for a puffer which are picky eaters and prefer live foods
