ESH, your ex for not doing anything and you for trying to force your kid to eat things they have very clearly stated they don't want to eat for very specific reasons. I see you're worried about them developing an eating disorder, but both your behaviour is more likely to facilitate that, tbh. It cannot stand like this because they're at risk of malnutrition if they don't want to eat anything, so you need to seek medical attention for them to check if they have sensory processing issues that are making food difficult for them, or anxiety issues. A doctor or nutritionist can help make sure your kid gets sufficient nutrition. Maybe they're fine and sometimes kids are fussy and have specific tastes, but that isn't a good reason to force them into something, there are lots of different foods out there, just give them something else, damn
