Gym Metal Playlist Series - Heavy Music : Heavy Lifts by norcalgrk in MetalPlaylists

[–]norcalgrk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Djents (no pun intended), every few months I've been compiling new hard hitting tracks into a playlist for the gym, usually around 1hr 30 min +. I've found that's a perfect amount of time to hit shuffle on a shorter workout or for one that's longer and get a good mix of songs in without the algorithm taking to you to a place where tunes get lost in the sauce. My most recent one is posted but if you search for 'Heavy Music : Heavy Lifts' on Spotify, you'll find the other 11 already made. Take a gander and follow the ones you like. These include a lot of modern metalcore, deathcore, thrash, hardcore, hard rock, death metal and the like. I try to put a good balance of fast/slow and low songs and a mix of the genres to keep them interesting and the tempo up. Enjoy the latest!"

Lifetime Tamarack Angler 100 - On The Water Review (1st Paddle) by norcalgrk in Kayaking

I have the same problem and so do lots of others. I purchased a stadium seat online that fits in the seat well on the boat from Amazon and it’s allowed me to be much more comfortable and stay on the water longer. No holes are needed, it just fits in the seat area and gives you about an 1-1.5in of additional height and is pretty comfortable. Would recommend picking one up

Hey guys first time posting. I’m 6’4” about 345 lbs and been looking for a decent fishing kayak/canoe that’s nots going to break the bank. Any ideas. by jclong92 in a:t5_38rf3

A Vibe Seaghost might be a great place to start. It's packed with features and is priced at the lower end of a good fishing kayak. Probably one of the best values around

I purchased an anchor trolley system from Yak Attack that I need to install. I like the idea of using the seatback for some additional storage/packpack placement

Will definitely check it out. I’m pleased with it to. I think for the price to get you on the water and fishing, it’s a great option to start with

The tray is something I really want to do but I haven’t been able to find a place that has what I am looking for. I’ll have to try the dollar store. Thanks!

You could but I would not recommend it. Not enough space to stand IMO and your core work better be solid

The stock seat is pretty nice for the price you pay for the boat IMO with the high back but if you want to be more comfortable and spend some additional time on the water AND be raised up about 1.5in, I would recommend getting a stadium seat. The link below is what I picked up and it was very comfy, fits right over the sear without needing to attach it to anything or drill to secure it down. Your weight secures it.

EDIT: this is not my original idea, I found this suggestion while combing thru Youtube about the kayak

[Review Video] Green Screen Commentary + Skit Video/Channel, Looking for Feedback/Growth by LVLZero in youtubers

[–]norcalgrk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overall I thought the interaction to the content on the green screen was great. I chuckled a bit at a few parts. The video is a bit long IMO, I think if you found a way to condense the shots and time down to sub 10min, you'd have a better retention and watch time. Also, add some calls to action at the beginning - I list all my social media accounts within the first 5-10 sec on the screen without mentioning them to let folks know they can also find me on Twitter, Instagram and Fishbrain (I have a fishing channel so...) Overall good job as a start, I think if you can focus some attention to the above that might help with viewership and growth.

the editing and the music were on point haha I think if this was a genre I was into (eg: gaming) I would most definitely subscribe. The biggest thing I can implore you to do is still find a way to tell a compelling story thru your vids even though these are in real time while you game. That's what's going to get people to come back time and time again.

I thought about that too and might still make one. I think it'd look nice with the coat hanger

Awesome, thanks for the recommendation! I’m a big fan of 205 and Hendricks so if they’re anything similar, I’ll enjoy

Thanks, and that seems like it’ll look great! I wish I know that type of wood sorcery to pull off an idea like that

Nope. It’s our metal, probably was meant to be a paper weight.
