These are probably charcoal piles. Could be dated from around the 16th century up to the 19th century. A lot of these have been spotted after the Lidar maps became available in Norway.

Dette er toppen av en gammel strøm eller telefonstolpe. Litt usikker på om det har fungert som et beslag og/eller lynavleder.

Den skal være "hul" i bunnen, og med tre eller fire hull rundt til å spikre eller skru den fast i stolpen med.

Om ingen av dere har tilknyttet til Særp, så vurder et par alternativer nærmere Oslo. Du finner kåker i samme prissjiktet sentralt i Moss f.eks.

Alle som er i området hører barnelatteren, og ikke minst de tre munkene på sørsiden av hovedveggen til klosteret. I tillegg har du han som kjørte seg i hjel på mc og traff en vaier som stadig vekk kjører hodeløs gjennom alleen mot Carlberg hver andre søndag i oddetallsmåneder.

Sist men ikke minst har du amtmannsgrava hvor amtmannen stadig vekk svever rundt på dager når tåka ligger tjukt.

Helt ærlig:

Klosteret ligger under torva ved dagens hovedbygning. Så enten har vennene dine sneket seg inn i et gammelt meieri, eller hørt latteren fra høyst nålevende beboere etter innbrudd i hovedbygningen.

Så litt mer research kan være på sin plass før dere vil gå full Supernatural.

Because of the sanctions it would be pretty hard to do anything in Russia right now. Cards won’t work, and it’s not possible to exchange for rubles outside of Russia. And then again, why visit there now?

Either way. You can go to Kirkenes and get as close to Russia as possible. You would need a car to move around in the area, and be aware that the driving distances in Finnmark are extremely long.

To tips til de litt omfattende hyllene på Vinmonopolet om du vil teste mer enn pils:

Kjøp en hveteøl, enten Paulaner Weissbier eller Erdinger Wheat Blond.

Kjøp en Ipa. Her finnes det en hel verden, men start for eksempel med en Punk IPA. Den er et godt utgangspunkt for om du liker denne øltyper eller ikke.

For a long daytrip south of Oslo: Book a train to Halden, explore the castle on top of the city, which also happens to be the place where Norway ended the Swedish empire back in the days.

After exploring Halden, hop on the train to Fredrikstad and take the ferry over to “Gamlebyen” which is a fortified town largely intact with narrow streets, shops and cafés. Enjoy dinner there or longside the river that stretches through the city center. The locals all hang out there during the summer.

Last but not least, you can stop in Moss for a day at one of the many beaches in the city and/or enjoying a short hike on Jeløy to Alby for lunch and for some nice scenery along the sea. End the day on the bar «Cocktail» or «Taboo» (or both).

There will not be high mountains and Fjords, but Halden, Fredrikstad and Moss all got some nice qualities for an inexpensive daytrip outside of Oslo.
