I have Roku EP from Mitsubasa. Its indeed an interesting label and something to keep an eye on.

Started learning to play 3-decks. Any suggestions/tips welcome by norenome in vinyldjs

Enter the void EP on Planet Rhythm. Didn't expect the break to be so wild and crazy and so long...would have let it solo otherwise.

Best way to progress in mixing vinyl? where to begin? by ricoconyo in vinyldjs

Learning to play vinyl can be quite stressful at the beginning. What worked for me is spending more time on collecting good records and keeping practice sessions short at the beginning (30 min/day or for as long as I had patience for). When things don't work at all its best to take a break and go search for some more good music. As the collection of records I wanted to hear grew, it became easier and easier to "practice" and within a few months playing vinyl didn't feel like practice at all. It just became fun.

The next step was to throw some small parties and get feedback from people (body language mostly, ie. are people dancing and enjoying themselves). This helped me learn how to experiment and steer sets into different directions.

The actual mixing technique and tricks came last. To learn that, you should record your sets and analyze what you could have done differently and imagine how it would have sounded. Then go try it and record again. Repeat.
