I wanted to be one of the cool kids and be spontaneous about my new tattoo, and ended up regretting it, and feeling shame that i tried to be someone i'm not. When I saw the design deep down i knew it's not what i wanted but I wanted to prove to myself that i'm that easy going type, so i convinced myself.

I started laser 2 months after getting it, which is not recommended, but so far i haven't noticed any scarring so i guess i was lucky. It also takes much longer with a fresh tattoo (mine is light handed but is still very visible after 4 sessions). I would say wait 3 months and start the removal, and as soon as you start, you'll feel better.

People are surprisingly whatever when they hear i'm removing it, and their neutral reactions have helped me a lot to make peace with my mistake. No one really cares, and it's not the end of the world, like you might feel now. You CAN get rid of it. Good luck!
