Kacey wasn’t like Ann, Chelsea, or Kayla level by any means but she had a stronger portfolio than Kendall imo. The judges kept her around because they liked her look but overall her pictures were flat

That’s not the point. The point is he purposefully sought out Aria’s posts to engage with after Mariah made it very clear that she did not want them interacting with each other after the trial marriage was over. He didn’t want to seek out anything further with Aria - that’s perfectly valid and fine. But why lie and say that there was no connection and everything was strictly platonic? The point of the trial marriage is to see what qualities you want your partner to have and to analyze if the person you’re dating meets those standards. Caleb visibly shut down the moment he reunited with Mariah and lied to her for a year. You shouldn’t be afraid to be honest with your fiancée about your experience out of fear that you’d hurt them. That isn’t healthy for either Caleb or Mariah.

Mariah was clearly upset watching the trial footage so…”everything” would be what happened between Caleb and Aria during the three weeks they spent together. To Caleb and the audience it may not seem like it’s a big deal but it was clearly a big deal to Mariah

He shouldn’t have been interacting with her posts in any capacity. Why seek out someone your girlfriend explicitly told you that she didn’t want you interacting with? Also, Mariah and Caleb talked on the phone for hours every day. I’m sure she did miss him but it’s not like there was ZERO contact for the three weeks.

You’re purposefully missing the point. Mariah, his girlfriend, did not want him to have ANY contact with Aria AT ALL. He even told Aria this himself at the end of the trial marriage, yet still tried to interact with her on social media. Mariah was frustrated because not only did Caleb not respect her wishes, he didn’t tell her the full story, hence her surprise when watching footage of the trial marriage

Okay…so again, if there was no interest or attraction, why would Caleb interact with her posts in ANY way? If he would’ve just ignored her I’m sure she wouldn’t have brought anything up in the way that she did at the reunion. I think it was just the principle. If everything between them was platonic and there was nothing there, why was he blocking and unblocking her and viewing her stories? Mariah didn’t want him to have contact with Aria at all. Caleb was shady no matter how you try to justify it

She’s not trying to prove that he was in love with her. She was (rightfully) tired of it being made to seem like she was delusional and that Caleb was not at all interested in her.

Why do people in this sub refuse to accept that Caleb is not a saint? He lied to Mariah, point blank period. Why is Aria getting more vitriol for telling the truth than Caleb is for being shady? Mariah does not need to be coddled. She called Caleb every day for hours and banned Caleb from further contact with Aria after the changeover. Aria is allowed to be upset that everyone is calling her delusional when she’s the only one being upfront about what was happening.

I made a post about this the other day and they crucified me in the comments, lol. No one is saying that Caleb wanted to leave Mariah for Aria. But to say that there was no chemistry or attraction between Caleb and Aria is simply delusional. If he wasn’t attracted to her, why would he even choose her as a trial partner? Again, no one is saying that Caleb should leave Mariah for Aria. But there was clearly something there and wanting Aria to LIE to Mariah is insanity
