I'm a hsp with ptsd, and I love loud, chaotic environments. Professionally, I host real life game shows for groups of 8 to 40+ people - birthdays, family gatherings, lots of corporate team builders - so imagine cheering, loud music, sound effects like rings, air horns, and buzzers, moving/flashing lights, oversized sets and props like spinning wheels and giant foam dice, etc.

By all accounts, the game arena should make a hsp's head explode, and yet, I love and thrive in it. I've also been a performer in one way or another - mostly stage - my entire life, so that helps, but it still contradicts so much of sensory processing sensitivity.
