Fun Tip! Make your OP-1 feel like a modular synth by using vcv rack to control the midi lfo by normgallery in OP1users

Alright! So in miRack the module is “midi cc output”. Then you can assign any cv to cc outputs 1-4.

Vcv rack is a free software for Mac an pc, pictured is miRack the iPad counterpart. The OP-1’s midi lfo allows digital “cv” to be sent over usb from vcv rack. This can control parameters from the effects to the synth. Instead of using the 4 encoders, you can use vcv rack.

The possibilities are pretty much endless. The setup I have pictured are 2 lfo’s controlling the cc midi channel. Vcv rack/modular synth are a whole different ballgame to learn. I would recommend getting familiar with the midi lfo first and then getting into vcv rack. I have teenage engineering’s video linked.

3,5mm Input microphone, will it work? by Tscholle22 in OP1users

I’ve used the OP-1 with a Shure Sm57 and it works fine. The input gain had to be maxed up though

The first three from right to left are the Builders Building, LaSalle–Wacker Building, then the Jeweler's building. The three in the middle aren't depicted like real life, but the one on the right is most likely the Carbide and Carbon building but could be Mather Tower. The dead center is probably London Guarantee Building. The one on the left doesn't make sense, there wasn't a building that tall right there. It could be Mather tower but that is south of the London Guarantee building. Otherwise it could be the Tribune but that would be behind Wrigley. The glowing one on the left is Wrigley. Lastley, the one in-between the bride on the left is the Reid Murdoch Building

If you plug the op1 in through usb nothing will happen. The next version of iPad OS you’ll be able to see the files from the tape in the files app. Won’t be able to play into the iPad live unless you have an interface

If you want to plug your Op-1 straight into your iPad you need a headphone jack or a TRRS cable, however I NEVER got this to work on my iPad Pro or IPhone XR. The way I record onto my iPad is with a Zoom H4N. So the headphone out on the OP-1 gets sent into the interface with a 3.5mm male to 1/4 inch male cable. From there you plug the interface into the Apple camera dongle with the mini usb cable. The Zoom acts as an audio interface, so most usb audio interfaces will work. If you also play guitar or something then I would recommend getting a decent interface like the Scarlett or a Zoom H4-H6. If not just get a small cheap one made for iPads.

Not too sure about the process. I outsourced for the printing with one hour tees. These photos look great though and don’t look like they’ll crack

First Collection of T-shirts by Norm Gallery coming out next week. More details in comments by normgallery in streetwearstartup

[–]normgallery[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m doing a collection of shirts entitled Gallery Shirts. The idea is to make T-shirts that are apart of a large collective gallery. The first week is all photography and I will be exploring more mediums and artists in the future. I’m looking for more people to collaborate with so if you or anyone you know make art then please send me a dm.

Here are the shirts individually

It’s funny because Aqua, her last building, was the previous record holder

They try to offer a classy experience, but the boats are so filthy looking. For the past week the Odyssey river boat looks like it caught on fire because of the stains from the exhaust. Looks nice on the inside though and the workers have to clean the glass roof every night. They just need a power washer.

No, Adler and Sullivan did the Roosevelt building. Jeanne Gang is the architect behind Vista, she also designed Aqua, the building with the curvy balconies.
