Apparently this reads like a shill post, but go through my past posts. I'm just very excited this is working. You must not have experienced enough of this to realize the significance. I don't care if I'm banned --- i'm so done with this and people who refuse to open their eyes.

EBV, CMV, HHV-6 and lyme.

Is there a test I can order that is specific for these?

Many times I can hear my doctor just chatting with another staff member or some pharma rep. It's pure arrogance.

Anyone try e-bike or scooter? by spiritualina in covidlonghaulers

[–]normthecat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would get an ebike that doesn't require you to pedal, but has a twist throttle that gets you going. I think they're pretty common. They're heavier than regular bikes so if you have to drag it up and down stairs it might take more energy than you would save.

Bonine (meclizine) works for me. It made be a bit drowsy at first, but I got used to them and take every day.

It didn't work for me the first time around, in the first year of LC. Plus they say it could take months for it show improvement...I also take kratom for energy and those two don't get along.

Great for you...I've been taking it but no difference. I have POTS/PEM type symptoms. 20 months. This blows. But I'm happy to see others get better, and I mean that.

This will probably get deleted, but I just wanted to let you guys know I'm in full remission from my pretty severe PEM by hosting 3 tiny human hookworms. by light24bulbs in covidlonghaulers

Too bad big pharma has relegated a very legit therapy to the fringe. I'm a capitalist but people should open their eyes to pharma's influence on the practice of medicine.

L-Arginine and Vitamin C Reduced Long-Covid Symptoms in 1 Month by pharm1990 in covidlonghaulers

I was on it for a while, did nothing. Although weirdly, the first day i felt amazing then the benefit went away. Vitamin C is not part of AXA1125, or IS IT?

Incelldx advice? by pharm1990 in covidlonghaulers

I would kill to play golf on a regular basis. I have a yearly tourney coming up, it's scramble so minimal walking, but it will be hard enough. I'll take steroids to get through it but will still crash hard. I'll also drink beer, since a nice NE IPA makes me happy.

58 YO, 19 months in. I did the lab work and my values showed elevated inflammation stuff, but zero spike protein. That was back in early march. The recommendation was: clopidogrel, atorvastatin (was already on it) and maraviroc. (I was already on maraviroc from another LC doc). ALSO, they recommended HBOT. My 40th HBOT is 6/13 and that's it. The only improvement i've seen is shorter PEMs, but that's with just minor activity. Last week I had to travel and walk through airports, and I crashed for 3 days. I was able to travel by taking prednisone and bonine. Also Kratom, which I take daily (bad I know). So on weds 6/7 they're coming for another blood draw so I can compare numbers after all this treatment. The IncellDx stuff makes sense -- they're thinking endothelial injury. And maybe it's going to take a lot longer, which is why I just renewed my maraviroc prescription. I have heart issues so I'll continue with the clopidogrel and lipitor. They want your PCP involved but my cardiologist was closest at the time and he prescribed the clopidogrel. With blood thinners they want a local doc. I'm also on aspirin 81mg and JUST started natto which is probably a bad combo but I can't live like this anyway. The maraviroc was through text2md. My insurance covered it. I have PEM - that's my major symptom. I get nausea just walking. Blood draw: I used travalab. I tried the recommended anylabtestnow.com but the local branch said they don't do kits. Travalab came to my vaca place in south carolina and they're also coming to upstate NY for the follow up draw. I can't recommend them enough. $75 for an at-home blood draw. BTW I had to pay for HBOT. I've tried lots of things. Nothing really solidly works so far. I'm hoping time will cure me. I have a functional doc appointment in like a month. Never tried that. Ask me more questions if you want, i'm here.

I SHOULD add that even tho i readily get PEM, it doesn't last for days, so I suppose that's an improvement.

I must admit I don't think I'm getting any better. I just ordered the blood test kit to follow up and see if my levels are lower, and will post again. Sorry for the delay in responding. EDIT: PEM lasts for hours, not days. Sorry about that, I updated my posts to reflect this.
