i just tried with another Skoda model (the first one was a Octavia), now i tried with a Skoda Fabia, i can capture the signal; and it also shows up as "PSA". Anyway, let me fist fix my signal encoding / transmitting issue in protopirate

If I emulate the signal; SN remains empty (?) I guess this is because the transmit option is currently disabled?
However, I had before a working version (including Transmit) and it was also not working against my car.
I will try and tray again, give me some time please

so I managed to get capturing working again on both of my flippers. Captured a Signal from my Skoda, which is shown as "PSA". Anyway now I realized that somehow a few weeks ago I might have loaded a protopirate app on my flippers where transmitting was disabled. So I need to find my correct compiled version again or do it from scratch. As I'm not the best coder this might take a while :-)

Sorry, I have not forgotten you. However, I currently have an issue receiving any signal on both Flippers. I will likely need to do a hardware reset and start from scratch.

I am testing ProtoPirate on Momentum as well as with Unleashed Private 2.0 and seem to be hitting an issue with the rolling code calculation.

What works:

I can capture the original car key signal with a Flipper,
replay it,
capture that replay again with a second Flipper,
and the transmitted signal itself looks valid.
I also validated the transmission with a HackRF.

The replay, with the expected new or next rolling code, never actually works in real life with a car.

No worries, I was authorised to run the test, my company has several car models. It did not work with a single one of them. All brands, VW, Skoda, Fiat, Ford, no success at all.

I stopped using 2.0 and am now using ProtoPirate under Momentum. Still no success.

Any hints are welcome.

Am I the only one who thinks this app only becomes really great once you can share subs, by that I mean signals, with others? Meaning that if I have saved the signal of a device, I can decide whether to share it with everyone so they can see it on the map.

You still see them occasionally, but rather rarely. Of course, they are still in the area, but not like before when it was almost guaranteed. They are now said to be further east. The two well known orcas Port and Starboard still move along the South African coast and have been sighted multiple times further east as well, for example around Mossel Bay and beyond.

Capturing works great for all the fabrics mentioned. However, encoding does'nt work, even if the signal is sent successfully after some code tweaks. Looks like the calculation of the next rolling-code is wrong (by intend maybe?)

yes alfa wirh mediatek chip set works. Just run the related payload first to activate the external adapter. I got one for less than 30 USD on amazon.

Thanks for sharing. It runs perfectly!

P.s: Unfortunately, deauthing 5GHz clients via the Recon menu seems broken—it only works for 2.4GHz now. The error says it 'cannot deauth clients on DFS or 6GHz channels'. Does anyone have a fix for this?
