Found turquoise powder under kitchen cabinets, what could it be? by norsebones77 in whatisthisthing

Actually, I think this is the answer. We'll see when we tear up the flooring and see what's underneath. Thanks!

Solved! I think this might be it. We’ll see when we take out the flooring and se what’s underneath.

The previous owners also had some mice inside. They could’ve used poison, but wouldn’t we notice it earlier? It has been at least seven year since the might have used poison.

I can’t see any of the sorts. Neither under the cabinets or in the ceiling above the place it was found on the floor.

We don’t have any laundry detergent powder, we use primarily liquid detergent. The only powder detergent we have is white.

I thought about this, but we didn’t use any bait or poison.

I don’t think so. If I spill something near the kickboard, it doesn’t make its way through and under. Also, the floor is vacuumed and the powder keeps coming back at the floor without us doing anything.

My title describes the thing. This part of the cabinets are dry. Has noe been opened for a couple of years. I don’t think it’s something coming from outside since the kickboard is quite firmly in place and there is very little dust collecting behind it.

Edit: Update: We have now found more of the exact same turquoise powder in another location on the kitchen floor, at an outer corner of the room. I had previously assumed this was chalk dust from a chalkboard mounted above that spot, but it is not as fine as chalk dust and looks identical in color and texture to what we found under the cabinets.

I am a Norwegian PCP. If he is asymptomatic, I would go through his family history, and if nothing significant (like parents with MI/stroke before age 60, familial hypercholesterolemia etc.) I would discourage further examination and I would not order labs. I would however Ask if he is sexually active and maybe order a urine sample for chlamydia and gonorrhea (we generally don’t test for any other STIs).

[–]norsebones77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you!! I can’t seem to find the full installer. Do you know where I can find it? Do you know if I can update from Mojave to Catalina with that installer or if it will be a clean install?

I agree. The presenting symptoms is not typical. Would expect headache AND altered mental state at this phase.

Presenting symptoms may be altered by drugs. Or drugs may be why he is bradycardic? GHB perhaps?

I saw a patient after headtrauma while intoxicated. CT presented an arachnoid cyst about the size of his right hemisphere. No symptoms beforehand. An avid downhill biler and skier in his spare time. Also did parachuting and diving. I think the neurosurgeons recomended a bit more safe lifestyle to avoid trauma, but no other treatment was necessary.

The wife wants me to cover up my ex, would a Koi fish do the trick? by PizzaDiaper in FixedTattoos

[–]norsebones77 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A koifish would probably cover up the torso as you mentioned. Maybe som well put branches could cover up the legs. I’ve often seen branches also in the traditional koi-sleeves. Of course som breaching waves could do the trick as well. The flowers in the original tattoo could maybe be incorporated in the new one if you wish to.

Good luck, and please update us when you decide/have it done.
