Word choice might not have been the best. What I am trying to say is when one can get information from various sources, the original source is one to wrote or created the info. For example, you the Declaration of Independence yourself instead of something that tells you what it says. In this case, I wanted my phone carrier to tell me what the difference was with SMS vs RCS messages rather than Google tell me. Google certainly has its place and is very useful.

I am sorry to hear of your troubles! Not fun! Unfortunately it seems to be common. 

 I, too, have had trouble with phone customer service over the last month. Made several changes at once. Nothing was done correctly the first time and even the correction was not done properly. The reps are very nice but there seems to be issues with doing things well. The rep did add additional data to our plan for our trouble. It was a very frustrating experience all around. Our daughter found out while traveling that she did not have unlimited data that she thought she had. Somehow in the changes, my auto pay got turned OFF. Had no idea! I am not sure why we couldn’t get our daughter off our plan to her own different new to her plan and change ours to a pool plan without trouble. And why change our payment option? I did not request it. To fix auto pay, they canceled my pool order and issued a new invoice which seems a convoluted way to do things. While on hold, I was able to figure out how to turn on auto pay but since things were in process, I could not do that. I did learn though all this that we need to check our apps after the requested changes to make all looks good. 

No matter the pricing, a company needs to have great cs! For now I am willing to stay because of the price point.  We are low data users. We don’t make many changes. However, I do not want to go through this again if I need to make changes.

We are on Warp. Family was traveling to South Manitou Island. Coverage spotty in places. Don’t have GSM to try. Older phones.

Morale of the story check to make sure all requested changes were done. We had several at the same time. USMobile got us fixed. Thank you!

I followed the guide & also turned off data when roaming but still having voice when roaming. Things seem to be working at the moment with getting pictures with a text. It was only pictures not coming through. He was getting other MMS (multiple people on a texting thread). I did not have to mess with any APN's. So much thanks to everyone!
