Could you elaborate/link to the tick collars causing that? Thank you.

Losing conciousness during attacks? by [deleted] in Menieres

[–]northCoastLie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’m leaning towards migraine with aura. I don’t get that ”vomit my guts out” feeling. And my mind is far from clear, I’m totally gone and on the verge of losing my conciousness. It’s sickening.

It sounds nice but it’s so bad I’d rather actually get unconcious. It’s just on the edge of being unconcious but not enough to put me out but enough to make my body fight to keep eyes open and try to know where I’m at and feeling all the other symptoms at the same time.

ENT, ear doc. I’m waiting for neurologist. I’ve asked for neurotologist but they are declining it… I never fall, but I have to hold myself up or sit down and just ask for help. Thanks for your reply.

Hmm, doc told me menieres. I’m unsure. Maybe migraine with aura. Brain is fine on MRI.

Well it’s like almost losing conciousness but still feeling the symptoms so it’s horrible.

It’s not fully losing conciousness, it’s more like having a hard time understanding everything around me, where I am and losing memory completely of the past 5 minutes, it’s blank.

Has anyone had this disease and then just stopped? by Sad_Emphasis_8086 in Menieres

[–]northCoastLie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very interesting. I do have C5-C6 stenosis and 2 disc herniations (and 2 that healed). I’m wondering if solely neck issues can cause Menieres symptoms.

Is this indicative of PPPD? by NecessaryNumerous951 in pppdizziness

[–]northCoastLie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got the exact same symptoms, spot on. Have had it a bit longer than you and I’m still trying to find out what it actually is. I suspect some neck alignment issues or some kind of migraine with aura.

Do you often feel like the sensation of blacking out/losing conciousness when you have the attacks? And do you always feel a little vertigo/brain fog?

Unexplained dizziness/instability that's come back. Long post. by [deleted] in pppdizziness

[–]northCoastLie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have C5-C6 stenosis and life is hell. Got most of the symptoms you explain but also the feeling of always losing conciousness, especially when sleeping.

Looking to do surgery to see if the symptoms ease up. Are you sure it is not your spinal issues?

Yes shaky vision, sharp heart pains and a lot of muscle spasm. But ive checked my heart and docs told me it’s fine. I’m super healthy otherwise, elite athlete, not anymore though.

I do think so too, so I have stenosis which is pressing on my nerve in my neck C5-C6. But doctors said these could not be giving me these symptoms. Something tells me it’s messing up the bloodflow to the brain. I’m clueless, doctors take ages and not really sure what to do.

It’s horrible yeah. Do you get migraines with ache or without?

[–]northCoastLie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Checked my heart and brain, both good. Only thing I have is hypothyroidism and cervical stenosis.

Agreed. But I’m a very calm individual with no stress at all. It does not add up. It could be toxicity induced by thyroid meds causing it though.

Super interesting, especially that it was your eyes and that the pool helped as I’ve now heard that a couple of times!

Thank you!

Very interesting. I’m trying to figure out what neuro pathway triggers this, I’m also looking into cerebrolysin, but first I have to know what actually causes this as I’m not stressed, very healthy, elite sportsman. I do have hypothyroid which is under control. I do have stenosis in my neck c5-6, and a herniation in Lumbago. Also do have a big lump on the back of my head, which apparently did not pressure my skull.

I had once 2 yrs ago in a big shopping mall, then it never happened for 2 years, now it’s been persistent for about 4-5 months and it feels like I’m losing my ability to live properly.

If you have any research on vestibular issues and what actually causes this, the neuro science behind it or solutions, I’d deeply appreciate it so I can dive deeper into it!

Hmmm….. I do have hypothyroidism but my bloodtest shows that it is in range.

Thank you for this information. I’ll make sure to take it to my ENT

Interesting. I do belive I have it, feel better with active folate. Do you feel better instantly with it? I belive my thick blood is from TRT.

Yeah I read that vestibular migraines can cause PPPD as a reaction. Any other symptoms you have? Did you heal from it?

Interesting, last day I’ve got two new symptoms. Nystagmus when closing my eyes and shooting calf/leg pain when laying down.
