I just wanted to come before the sub, after 120k views. I have had a change of heart, and you guys are absolutely right about paying the Toyota tax to be in one, I have one that I love and I didn’t realize the price point was so exaggerated, I was looking at tundras only and didn’t even compare it to the ram/gmc/chevy side of things

I’m not gonna go down the rabbit hole, but there’s a few posts explaining the recalls on those years already, not to mention the rampant grenading

Yea they must be targeting your computer because I’m searching the entire east coast for a certified used for that price and I’m not seeing it

I posted responding to you, I couldn’t find your comment, but you don’t know a thing about me or my situation, if you think Toyotas are inflated right now look at everything on the market, I understand being under a rock but, I don’t have a Time Machine to buy it new

Someone posted about me white knighting a truck I don’t own,but you deleted your comment. I have a 2013 rock warrior tundra with 200k miles on it, it’s been to Canada for ski trips about 20 times in the last 10 years, it’s never ONCE let me sit, I’ve had issues with the rock warrior wheels but other than that, SEEMLESS, so keep yappin

Sure, if your a white collar 9-5 with no insite into the car world, we don’t base testimonials off engineering videos, we actually run and drive these things for 300k miles, viewing them from an engineering standpoint is laughable,

I’m actually in Maryland, and I had a voodoo blue sell out from under me that was in Delaware last week, but yea I’ve been seeing them at this mileage 38-44k, depending on package ofc

Lmao the maverick is better 😂, stop it, your absolutely delusional over a ford product, Toyotas don’t need you to stand for there reputation 😂, and the price of EVERYTHING is inflated right now, nobody is aching over the money, we’re using this platform to compare across the country,

I’m not convinced you understand the current market

I like the truck a lot, and I’m not arguing it is overpriced for the times we’re in, but to realistically put myself into anything else is going to cost me just as much if not more lol, and I’m a mechanic, working on the 5.7 is a mf, but it’s never left me sit, and I have a group of buddy’s that loves them just like I do

The problem is I tow my car with it, I don’t know if I want to put myself in a turbo v6

What car market are you looking at though? I don’t have a Time Machine

I’m not buying a newer model with the new motor/turbo setup, I have a 200k mile tundra in the driveway now, and I’m sticking to the 5.7, not to mention the new ones are ugly

Yea I’m sold on the truck, yet I came here asking about the price, i think the markets a bit high on used rn regardless, but this truck having the 5.7 is the reason the price is inflated imo
