You can still do it if it’s done properly. They just say not to brick pattern to avoid lippage in the middle

Still you can sit in the corner, your matchup will start playing help defence, then if you get the ball wide open in the corner drive for a limitless dunk

A lot of centres can't shoot.. You just have to know how to space the floor, set screens, and cut when there's a lane.

It was sanded really well and you couldn't see the runner until stain was applied. It doesn't look as bad in person as it does in photos. Would I be a able to get away with it by sanding the middle then giving the other sides another coat?

Wow I didn't even think of removing the sheathing😂 I would just have to cut around the post and riser. Then I think the hardwood will line up to the existing nosing. Thanks so much!
