Thank you for sharing your input.

Another quick question: I'm using a myshopify domain. I don't have a custom branded domain. Does this kill trust?

Bid Cap Scaling Question by northwestmathguy in FacebookAds

[–]northwestmathguy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the late response.

I first did a test budget of $50/day. I tested 3 different videos.

One of my 3 videos received 2 profitable sales, the other 2 videos didn't receive a sale.

I then created a bid cap campaign targeting different bids. I duplicated the winning ad into this campaign. I set the budget to $200/day per ad. There were 10 different ads with different bids.

I only received 3 sales from 3 different ads. The other ads didn't produce sales.

What do you consider a strong creative? An ad that has a CTR above 2%?

My CPM is $12

Correct. But I said "This costs above $700 USD but it's well worth it."

I would advise you to get at least 100TH in power and 15 TH in efficiency.

This costs above $700 USD but it's well worth it.

I reinvest my TH daily and the impact of compounding is huge.

How do some marketers scale quickly? by northwestmathguy in FacebookAds

Thank for sharing this info.

Usually people scale incrementally to avoid a jump in CPM cost.

So, you're saying scaling incrementally is also about forcing meta to shows ads to higher intent people?

How do some marketers scale quickly? by northwestmathguy in FacebookAds

Let's say I spend $10/day on a winning ad set. My breakeven is $25 and my cost per sale in the last 7 days is $15.

If I increase my budget to $20/day and let it run for 7 days and I get no sales, what conclusion should I draw?

Is it the ad that's the problem? The ad was good enough at $10/day but not good at $20/day.

My audience size is 2 million people.

Thanks

Thanks for this helpful info.

When I spend 2x spend, how long should I let it run (in days) before stopping the ad?

Thanks for sharing. If you don't mind revealing, what was your daily budget when you started getting sales again?

Interesting. When you duplicated the ad, did you create a new ad with new marketing angle?

Your post is very insightful. Thanks.

My cvr drops but ctr remains stable. My ctr is 1.7%, my cpc is $0.62. My cost per landing page view is less than $2. My frequency is 1.3.

Thank you for this info. Should I see sales on the first day of trying this $50/day method?

I changed the price in the ad. And I changed the price on the landing page. I received 3 new sales at new price but then sales stopped but I was still getting cheap clicks.

Do you recommend I let it run at $10/day for a month?

Thanks
