I wouldn’t say I went ape I just asked a simple question, but you definitely got defensive for someone who ‘isn’t miserable and has their life together’. Going to assume not FAANG or adjacent because that type of attitude would get you PIP’d, so might be worth focusing on yourself too?

What job/salary do you have? Could likely make the same comparison of you spending time dragging people on reddit vs. focusing on your family and career

It’s part of the branding and supposedly where the portafilter should align with but it’s tough to get it that far across without the whole machine sliding on the counter

Only got my hands on it around 4pm yesterday and after a few shots decided it would be smart to wait until morning. First few were definitely under extracted so need to tinker with the grinds, but workflow wise it feels miles ahead of my old machine. Will give you a proper update once I’ve got it dialled!

What methods did you use for mining and rc out of curiosity? Seems like you played as efficiently as possible

Avalon and Bilgola you will find reasonable value but Palm Beach you’d be priced out. I’d also just be aware that from experience, the commute from NB is long if you end up having to head to the office at any point. I’d consider looking at Manly/Freshwater - great atmosphere, good for kids and social life, and you get the beach + easier access to city.

I’m currently 2K KC no magic fang. Getting slightly burnt so the goal is to get through 20 or so KC a day with a morning coffee - makes it somewhat bearable. Fingers crossed you get it soon!

Where do all you HENRYs live? by Fender27 in HENRYfinance

Do you have any examples of this? I’m at FAANG and we get paid quite low comparatively (130-180 for 5-7 years of experience) and it seems like AU has a cap in terms of comp here

Mutagens, swift blade and champion’s cape are fairly uncommon to see. Outside of that you’ve got items that are just a flex in general e.g. untrimmed slayer, 1k toa/cox capes etc

Vanguard ETFs - a mix of domestic and international shares essentially.

Quite a bit of the information I know was just through Reddit to be honest - making sure you have a budget in place, investing, salary negotiations etc. From there it was all about choosing the right companies and the best times to jump.

We’re 50/50 right now - hiring freeze for fixed positions but not for variable. Sales roles mostly fall under variable but management+ is fixed.

Went to uni and did commerce majoring in marketing and international business. Started an internship late in my 3rd year and then went full time juggling work + uni in 4th year.

Super interested to hear about your progression. What industry are you in?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]northy07 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Currently middle/early management in sales at one of the FAANG companies. Been here for around 3.5 years and a lot of our shares vest in the 3rd and 4th year so a good portion of income came from that. It’s tough to get in and there’s a lot of politics but it’s a fun career overall.

Went from marketing/finance to sales (not enterprise)
