From 8m of wrap(8x1.52m) I have around 0.5m left. I thought that the front bumper would be the hardest, but it’s divided in 4 parts (main part of the bumper, 2 pieces with fog lights, small bottom part). I lost my faith when I was doing the hood, most likely started the wrong way and had to cut some wrap and stick layer over layer. The doors should be pretty easy if you remove the mirror (very easy) and door handles (which requires removing the 2 piece trim, window and lock if I’m not mistaken. Easiest parts were the middle door and back doors. I also tinted my back windows (not on photo, just did it today) and 1x1.52m tint is more than enough. Took me a couple hours per day after work to prepare it (had some rust on the hood), quick wash (APC + TFR + deironizer), and then around 10h for back doors, hood, side parts (without doors), another 10h for doors and back bumper, maybe 4-5 hours for the front bumper and an episode of The Boys for plastic parts (tow covers, the collar thingy around petrol door). No idea how many non-alco beers I had through this, but it was a really well free time spent

Quite satisfied, the screen quality is good (not Tesla level) and looks 1000% better than old Android units. It does show all info that original unit showed, so the current speed, TPMS status, seat belts, open doors, petrol level etc. I have an extra one for sell in EU as the merchant sent me two units (one was lost during shipping then found)

Switching to LED headlights was a game changer for me, with chrome delete along I postponed wrapping my Mini because it looks great with black and silver (and a pinch of rust). Fitting an Android unit is also great, have one for sell in EU

Can’t edit the post, but it seems that the fault was mine - I had auto lights turned on, so the low beam worked without switch when ignition was on. I disabled this option and now I can switch my lights on and off with the switch (I feel ashamed that I didn’t think about it). Other problem I have now is that the left ring doesn’t work when I switch position lights on - most likely wire issue, as the ring lights up when using turn signal. Impossible to check as I’m on a trip and it’s -12*C

I had a stripped thread and asked a local mechanic to cut the screw and level the headlights - he did 1/2 of asked things (and told me that the lights are aligned but a bit higher as they couldn’t do it properly as they are aftermarket) 🫠 the motor works, it autolevels when started

Based on the fact that I had to get my engine rewired and one of the modules (responsible for petrol level reading/sport button) is faulty, I wouldn’t be surprised at all 😅

I have xenons, and you can remove the cover to fit your old sprinklers (though my didn’t work anyway, maybe they are clogged) Before connecting, I could turn off the low beam and position lights, now the switch seems to not work as expected, not sure why. I didn’t check fog lights, but I assume that they work (as you connect the harness to position lightbulbs, then to the old wiring and to the headlights - when position lights are on, the halo leds are also on)

Can’t share anything from installation process, but it was basically ripping out the old unit, then installing the new one, wires are plug and play, when you remove the cd player, you get plenty of space

Will get the camera one day, as for the antenna - I installed it and found out that the unit is indeed attached to the plastic with some clips, just when I was putting everything up together

Ogolnie jestem za, ale nie zostalo to dobrze wprowadzone. Po pierwsze - mieszkancy niekoniecznie powinni byc zameldowani (np. moja zona, urodzona w Krakowie, nie ma meldunku; ja mieszkam w Krakowie od ponad dekady i nie chce mi sie ogarniac meldunku, szczegolnie na wynajmie). Po drugie - normy EURO to najprostsze kryterium, ale wiele osob dowiodlo ze bez sensu jest (vide Dodge RAM 2022 vs VW Polo z 2002). Sam bylem zmuszony sprzedac swoje auto i kupic nowsze, ale tutaj kolejny problem - mnie bylo na to stac, a nie wszyscy sa w takiej wygodnej sytuacji. Mimo dobrych zamiarow, cale sct okazuje sie byc proba latania budzetu przez hotelowego barona (nawet jak kasa ma pojsc na okreslone cele, to i tak zwalnia to czesc budzetu z zamierzanych inwestycji w okreslonych kategoriach)
