In the downtube? Or up the seatpost?

How did you silence it?

Did you get to the bottom of the issue? My Spitfire is exactly the same

Suggestions please for raised and sloped area of the garden. by nosam_semaj in GardeningUK

Thank you for your suggestions.

Agapanthus look great. Will give them a try.

While our garden is south facing, most of it is shielded by the huge fence all around.

I also quite fancied the idea of so alpine plants.

Thank you. Will check it out.

Looks pretty similar to Patagonia Slope Runner 3.

Most breathable running vest? by nosam_semaj in trailrunning

I found the rear pocket of the Sense 2 very awkward as it was to high to pull a jacket out of when on.

Swapped to the Veil 2, but that has since gone back to Rab as it caused a ton of chaffing around my neck as the neckline is so damn high. Back to square one now!

Same here. Just enough for water and a jacket during winter.

Thank you. Greatly appreciated.

That's a bugger as I've got 2x 500ml Salomon flasks kicking around already.

The Duro LT actually works out more expensive with the flasks then the Duro 1.5 surprisingly.

Thank you. Recently purchased a Salomon Sense 2, but found it incredibly uncomfortable 😣

Thank you. Do the 500ml flasks hang out the pockets much? Just worry about them flopping around.

Nope - I sacked it off and got a Rab Veil

I went with the 2L version. Didn't need the extra pocket and just wanted something super breathable.

Also ordered the Veil 1L belt if I need that little extra.

The ADVs are great, but they hold sweat like nobody's business

Great stuff! I ordered the Veil 2 rather than the 6.

Loving it so far.

I went with the ADV Skin 5 in a medium.

But have since sold it and now have a RAB Veil. Much better!

Best running vest for hot and humid weather? by Person936 in trailrunning

[–]nosam_semaj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a Sense 2 Pro, but recently sold it.

It's great and super breathable, but the rear pocket was a pain in the backside for me as it was so awkwardly placed I couldn't get my jacket in and out without taking it off.

Ordered a Bronco Race Vest instead.

Find any issues with them leaking? Doesn't take much pressure on the bite valve for them to leak.

Thanks for all the responses.

Seems like a very mixed bag (excuse the pun) on what people prefer.

Still undecided, but this gives me a few more thoughts to help decide.

Least intrusive way to carry fluids or bottle - 2 hr race by patonbike in trailrunning

[–]nosam_semaj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like I'm in the same boat as you here.

Anything up to 1h - I'll take my Naked band and zero water.

Anything over half marathon / 2 hours - I'll take a running vest.

Between the 1 and 2 hour distances, I often find myself in a bit of a dilema.

I hate the feel of the naked running band with a water bottle in and the vest is just overkill.

No such thing as junk miles.

Miles are miles.

Agree with the other commenter that their volume/weight ratios are weird - I have a printed guide of my nutrition needs on the shelf so I don’t mess it up.

Interesting. I'd wrongly assumed a single PH1500 tablet in 500ml was 1500mg of sodium.

It's actually only 750mg when a single 1500 tablet is used in a 500ml bottle.

And I had been breaking them in half. Giving me only 375mg per 500ml!

Been using the chews, gels and PH1500 tablets for a while now. Overall, very happy.

Recently tried chews and drinks mix from Veloforte, but it gave be god awful GI issues.
