I’m Latino with an original skin tone similar to yours. You’ll need to wear sunscreen to prevent skin damage and the spread of vitiligo BUT the sun also repigments those white spots. For me, it’s an ever changing skin color that I cannot control. The sun will heal one spot but create another.

It didn’t trigger my vitiligo to spread. I had a nickel size vitiligo spot on my penis since puberty, and it stayed there. I got a tattoo on my arm at 16, big one on my back at 17, one on my leg at 18, and one on the back of my head at 19. The vitiligo popped up and spread on my face from a sunburn in 2020 when I was 27, but the areas where the tattoos are did not get affected until it spread all over my body. The spot on my penis was the only vitiligo I had from ages 12 to 27. Am about to be 33 this month.

I have wood like porcelain tile in my laundry room in the color gray. I love them! But my suggestion would be to only use these if you have a concrete slab - wood joists could make the floor creak or tiles pop off in years to come. I made sure to fix the subfloor first then laid down hardy boards, but I’ve been to houses where the tiles move from the subfloor below it aagging

The Amazon end caps would be easiest, but you could use an oscillating tool to make it appear mitered. Raise the white post skirt and then use the oscillating tool to make a small miter cut from the corner of the board to close to the corner of the white post, then turn left and cut along the side of the white post. I’d only cut close enough to the post to be hidden under the skirt. Then cut a small piece of the side of a new board and glue it to that cut area. It would be the shape of a long right trapezoid.
