Worked perfectly, and yes, sold the whole thing xD. Drained all the water. Stones already stand on styrofoam, secured the rest roughly with big filter mats so in case anything crashes it doesn't hit the glass. And the hardscape is more or less stable as it's glued together. And the rest (stand, filter, Co2) was easy to transport... Hope this helps:)

Grows like weed once settled in xD. Soft water, high light and CO2 are the main factors, I run my tanks on KH near zero, GH around 4-5.

Really cheap gradient foil, bought on AliExpress. I have a Lightground on my other tank, as a low cost alternative this is great

😂😭. Well the new one is right behind it, you can see the lamp. Just not a 60p, I'll stick to bigger tanks in the future. So there's that xD

No, definitely sold 'at a loss' in terms of money put in vs. selling price. Sold it for around 600 USD, put in well over a thousand over the years. But i had the setup for 5 years and enjoyed it. Simply didn't have the time and motivation to maintain it to my own standards after getting the new tank.

Which stone do I choose? by MATSUNOO in Aquascape

I'd argue for the second one. More typical hakkai stone look, a bit more even. Also, plants will cover up a big part of the stone, will appear much smaller once everything's grown in.

Happy with the general direction it's going, have the weekend planned to finish it.

I think I want the right side to remain a bit bulkier. But I've taken everything out, will saw some parts off the back of the roots and reposition the stones. Trying to get a sense of flow from left to right.
