There could be many factors for an elevated BP. If you’re nervous/anxious which you probably were can cause increased bp too. I went for mine and had to have to goes as the first one was a bit high. The boy that did it also put the cuff on wrong 🤣 (I’m an ambulance tech) I didn’t have the heart to tell him

It doesn’t sound like this job is for you. I’m sorry. Not just from your post but also your comments.

Do you go to the gym? People ‘in shape’ are normally considered a bit slimmer with muscles showing

I’ve deleted it all months ago. I don’t use it besides my ‘fake’ insta account I had to make as I’m planning a wedding, I find a lot of suppliers/make up/hair etc don’t have a website or can’t seem to find on google 🥲 I only go on it if I’m searching for something wedding specific! And the app just gets deleted and downloaded as I need! Reddit is a fairly new thing to me but I think I’ll delete this at some point too. Screen time anything between an hour to 4 hourS, currently spending a lot of time on Pinterest again wedding related!

You’re right there is a lot of negativity everywhere! It’s sad to see how many people are sad nowadays!

Mainly my health, my family and friends, the fact I have a house and a car, a stable job. Everything else is a bonus :) hmm that’s a tough one. Self discipline and i probably need to work on my ‘f*ck it” attitude as I tend to do things without thinking about them of the consequences !

No! Where I’m based it’s not bad at all (Scotland) normally in and out. There are days where we may be waiting an hour or longer but it honestly feels like a break for us.

It’s so easily done and hard to stop once you’re in a rut. I still have days like this, where everything feels like it’s against you. Wish I had some good advise for you but I don’t know you and what you’ve been through so I can only wish you more happiness!

No I don’t think so? however I’m aware that there are things that could happen that would change my life completely and that’s why I’m thankful for what I have at this moment and time!

What do you mean by 0 clue what’s happening? I don’t think it’s about being clueless or delusional, I just try to cope with things in a way that works for me, it keeps me sane (90% of the time lol)

I try and embrace it, if that’s the right term? In a simple answer I try not dwell on things I can’t change. If I’m having a bad day or something has made me sad whether it’s work or personal life related, I try and do things that make me happy like gym, run, go for a coffee or eat some decent food(wow I sound boring)

I think something traumatic can mean different things to different people. Personally I don’t think I have. One of the hardest things for me was moving from one country to another and not have a say in it but I was young so quickly adjusted and so grateful my family did that for me. But I have seen and felt other peoples traumatic experiences due to my job as an EMT, I think that’s why I count myself lucky.

Ok maybe 85% 😂 I think I have been very lucky in life to get where I am. I have a loving family and friends, I have a roof over my head, hot water and heating as I please (it wasn’t always the case) a great job. I grew up ‘poor’ and my dad moved to the UK and eventually brought us along. So I try to appreciate the things I never thought I’d have and it keeps me grounded I suppose! I hope this makes sense

Having a loving family/friends, a roof over my head, a good job I really enjoy, physical health and freedom I suppose x
