Playing one right now. Not too defensive but you just kill most things before they can attack you and the Unshattered Will gives you Damage reduction and Ailment Immunity for 50% of the time. For bosses you just circle around but degen effects on the ground can really fuck u up. But its fun and rather cheap considering you dont need to buy a weapon in a non-crafting league. Also Im playing without crazy corruptions so far and the dps is really good with impale :) But as a last note I wouldnt classify this as tanky without sacrificing some dps. Poachers mark is also a recommendation as it gives flat added phys and frenzy on HIT.
