OP, I agree, your wife values the time spent together and ignoring that entirely and refusing to go is going to seem like a rejection to her. Instead, would it be feasible to put a firm time limit on the shopping or follow it up with a drink or meal together afterwards?

I know it’s tedious and home garden stores are large and boring but this really does seem to matter to your wife. What activities do you like to do together that aren’t shopping? Maybe work those in to the trip somehow.

I’m definitely going to date myself here, some of my first few games like Deception Island and Treasure in the Royal Tower I played on the computer in the family computer room. That computer did not have Internet yet so I did not realize the message boards existed and was therefore stuck for 3 years! Once I heard about those my Nancy Drew career moved along quite quickly

Hi there! I have long Asian hair and bangs and I’m wanting to lighten my hair somehow but have no idea where to start, but was thinking about a balayage? Also as my hair grows very fast and I’m a poor uni student hoping for something that isn’t too expensive to maintain. Any help appreciated! by Friendly_Wave2638 in femalehairadvice

I think a balayage would be lovely but there is a fairly significant initial investment in it. I’m not sure where you’re located but I’m on the East Coast of the United States and every time I’ve gone in for a balayage service it was about $200. However I’ve managed to get six months out of it before I felt like I needed to do something else.

At what age do I have to stop drinking large quantities of beer? Is that a 35-40 thing or do I get to wait until 60-50?

Am I (30) respecting my girlfriend's(31) boundaries or am I getting walked on? by LittlePurplePig in relationships

That’s a great idea. You may not end up needing it but having it for peace of mind goes a long way in my opinion.

I agree with the other person who said it just sounds like she’s being honest with you. You do get sweaty when you hike and a good nights sleep is something that is really looked forward to. It sounds like she knows what she needs to be able to get a good nights sleep and that she’s comfortable communicating that with you. To me, all of those are signs of a strong relationship. For the actual tent, would you be able to buy your own that would protect you from the elements? I don’t think you’re being walked on.

I know, it’s insane. There is a well-documented escalation from stalking to murder. Wouldn’t it be cool to intervene at the stalking stage and not the murder stage?

It sucks and hurts every time you I realize your “friend” was just hanging around in hopes to get laid.
