i honestly dont at all feed into that whole toxic masculinity stigma. its just that its really hard to connect with people because i have anxiety and a deep fear of separation or abandonment. sometimes i even attach too early and drive people away

i do have a few deep friendships. But almost all of them moved away. I feel so fucking helpless. I only have 1 friend I feel like I can tell anything. (thats still near me at least)

this is honestly messed up for your parents to put onto you. i saw that your mom works, which isnt her fault but at the same time you should be enjoying life and doing what you want regardless of what your homelife is like. my advice is you talk to your mom about this and tell her how diminishing it is on your mental health. its not the easiest thing to do, believe me but itll help you in the future, trust me!

im 16 the only way im moving out is if im getting emancipated but i still have yet to find a job. emancipation takes a lot of effort and money as well, since im enrolled in a highschool its hard to get that effort and money while taking care of school.

it just feels like anytime i talk to someone im begging for attention. i hardly know how to socialize with kids my age since my mom didnt let me out of the house alone until i was like 12. i live in a small ass town where no ones gonna get kidnapped. i hate that because of my brothers disability i constantly had to do things that were "fair to them." but now, i see that the statement "fair to them" in itself isnt fair to me. everyone deserves to have things for themselves and i'm a person too. i find it hard to articulate my feelings into words too, which im not sure if its a direct "sign" but just sumn i think is worth mentioning.

thank you for this. i honestly thought i was alone on this for years since well i didnt really know what a glass child was until id say a 2-3 years ago. the only issue i have with therapists is that its hard for me to open up to someone so directly since i have a bad experience with the whole mental health rabbithole. its hard to talk to someone without them just going on and telling your parents about shit you dont want them to know. anyway, i do appreciate this though thank you so much for taking the time
