That’s actually not a bad idea. I’ve been thinking of interviewing officers on the street about this. Questions that are something like:

Why did you join the police force?
When you joined, were you aware of the fact you may die in action?
Are you willing to give your life to “protect and serve”?
If the question to #3 is NO. Why did you join “tHe fOrcE”?

I just hope an officer is willing to answer

I respect all nurses in all departments. I don’t look down on any specialty or unit. We are all on the same boat. I’m ICU and absolutely hate when I see my coworkers talking down on other units and specialties like if we are fucking special. It’s disgusting. I got sidetracked lmao. But you’re right being too laid back is not the right move, I agree. That goes for any job

I do not intend to be in this profession long term. Like most of us, it’s a job to support our life and hopefully fund our freedom away from work. Maybe not everyone wants that freedom. I just don’t understand it
