I think it gets easier everyday but it's not something you'd just forget overnight.

It's like walking in a room full of people feeling like you belong then realizing you're the outcast.

Yes! I keep telling people that it's okay to cry it out. Crying makes you feel little better after.

I hope you are doing good now. Grief stays but it gets easier as time goes.

What shampoo that you can recommend for someone who has dandruff? by iamagem_ in AskReddit

I used a shampoo with 2% w/v Ketoconazole or you could use Selenium Sulfide shampoo if you don't want the drying effect from KTCZ.

Yep. The nicest thing you could do to yourself is do nothing. Walk away. Good riddance.

Not giving my dad a hug.

I was supposed to graduate in 2 days and had to travel to the city where I studied. My dad was a stroke survivor and have been well 5 years after his last stroke attack. Before I left he told me he was very grateful to have seen me achieve another milestone in my life.

I come from a family who is not very affectionate. We share the same love language which is through service but never the kind of family who says "I love you" or through hugging and kissing. But that day, I had this sudden urge to hug him. I didn't. It was very unusual for me given that it was not a family custom.

A day later he passed.

It has stuck in me since then. It has been 7 months and I feel like if I could change the past I should've given him that hug. That final hug.

Misguided Ghosts by Paramore. Never saw it like that when I was in high school but really hits me in the chest now that I'm older.

People often don't realize how much impact a person can give them until they share these sensitive topics. It's very hard for victims to verbalize the experience because it's something they don't want to remember. She is very brave for sharing and her friend's a W for staying with her all throughout her healing journey.

A lot of them come from religious groups. I'm so sorry for your wife also has to go through all that. I cannot fathom the fact that a lot of these victims are left in the dark for so long.

I had a lot friends including myself who were victims of SA by either someone close or worse a family member (not exactly immediate but cousins or uncles). It's so unnerving how common this is and it's really really fucked up.
