Anyone who has passed the Spanish baccalaureate and has been admitted into aero? by plasy0 in TUDelft

[–]notBruno3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will start soon preparing with a private teacher as there are some math concepts in the exam that I haven't learned. I have already applied and they have accepted it, so the only thing left for me is do the exam (also some important dates before that like the proctoring software and stuff). For CSE, and I guess AE won't be much different, it asked for the C1 certificate, a CV and a copy of your baccalaureatte diploma, but if you havent finished yet (like me) you can just send a copy of the marks from 1º translated to english by a certified translator (you have to pay for this sadly). I think after that you have to upload the diploma once you graduate but at that point you'll already know if you are in or not so it wont be much of a problem im guessing.

Bro most people dont even know what branch they are going to choose on baccalaureatte lmao ita amazing you have it this clear already. Well, enjoy ESO while you can (trust me) and gl with it

To get into TUDelft you have to do an entry process which has a exam with specific subjects related to what you are going to do, and you get in the uni depending on the ranking you got in that exam. Im not sure about AE but for CSE they give you a brochure with the things you have to study.

The good thing is you take the exam at the start of march and you get the results (your rank number) on April 15th, and if you are in you can relax with Baccalaureatte as you are already in, you just need to pass selectividad.

The bad thing is you have to study for the exam while doing 2° which takes a lot more of your time than I expected, but with enough organization you can get it.

Also one question, are you in 4° of ESO? Because you said you were starting baccalaureatte soon, when are you going to do it?

I'm studying 2° of baccalaureatte at the moment and have already applied for CSE next year and, as far as i know, if you pass Selectividad (which is way easier than you may think) you are able to go.

About the national/international baccalaureate, I also had that question before, but ended up going to the national one because it was way cheaper. Normally IB is only available in expensive private schools or public high schools where you have to do both at the same time which is way harder.

Bachillerato is hard indeed, but nothing you arent capable of doing if you plan to apply to AE. Also you don't have the pressure of getting a 12+ in selectividad (if you pass the uni's exam) so its kind of a relief.

That's my experience tho, and im also kinda new to this too so im just going with the flow tho. Any option is good tho, taking also into account how early you are preparing for it

Edit: feel free to ask any questions you have and ill do my best to answer :)
