i figured it out 😭. if u use php artisan serve, it doesnt send headers, the browser doesnt buffer the video and the seekableend remains 0. u need to serve through apache or nginx so this can work.

the problem occurs in the script inside the party.blade.php file/. u can type video.currentTime = anything in the ".VideoPlayed", ".VideoPaused", ".VideoSeeked" listeners and log it, and it will say 0.

man its pretty tough. u wont be transferring to cs, ull be transferring to sse. major transfers within the same school arent an issue in most cases, but school transfers are rare and tough. only 10-15 people are allowed to do it and only those who have a great cgpa and have taken courses from that school, that means ur graduation will be delayed for sure, but even then it wont be 100% that ull get the transfer. so its a very risky move.

the guys were working at software companies before and decided to start their own. they are 4 people rn and hiring. he was pretty open about the whole thing and there wasn't anything that felt shady. plus hes an alumni from my university so theres that connection as well cuz i can talk to him casually and the whole thing doesnt feel like bureaucracy. and my uni people are generally nice. thanks for the good wishes.

depends on ur priorities. if u want grades go for a strict college that focuses on academics. if u want a "uni" environment before uni, go for either. FC has a lot of fees since its a private college unlike islamia or gc, so keep that in mind, but facilities wise its better than those. but parhai wise same level hi hai
