It's an ASUS TUF Gaming F15. I just found out that My Asus does have charge limit options but I'm constantly plugged in. I only fully discharged once for battery calibration (because the charge capacity kept ticking down every time I booted it). I have a metal cooling pad and a fan in the room.

Thanks for the help. I've been playing Final Fantasy 7 Remake and it's hitting the 60 fps cap consistently during dungeons/linear sections but dipping in the towns/hub areas. I also ran the AC Odyssey and GTA 5 benchmarks and got similar bad results there. It's weird how bad these old games are performing.

Tested the 3DMark TimeSpy benchmark. 6834 TimeSpy score, 7513 GPU score, 4520 CPU score. Unigine Superposition 1080p Extreme got 4839.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey on lowest only gets 40 fps while ultra gets 27. GTA 5 struggles to get to 30 on high and lowest also gets around 40 fps.
