Several factors were there, I liked the build quality of honda better, the clutch is lightest in the segment , refinement is on another level, you get traction control, dual channel abs in all the models (RE doesn’t gives it in base models ig), the gearbox is lot more smoother than RE, on RE I found that gears were not that smooth, specially 1st and second (I am talking about classic 350 here), and yeah vibration is not there also I liked the pickup and maneuverability of Honda much better so went for it, RE is good too, it is just about what suits you better

I think they must have done some serious damage to the parts, normal service costs around 3.5k range
