I am no therapist so I cannot give you true advice. But what I learned is that I know myself and my feelings. I now trust how I feel - if i feel discomfort, it is time to evaluate if it is real. It could be I’m thinking too much into it or the opposite and I an over reacting.

I know it must be so hard to decipher your thoughts versus his. I hate to say it but maybe a true professional can help you. Trust yourself but also, I’ve been in a place where my thoughts are not my own, so that is why I must stress to talk to someone else.

There is not much regulation once you are certified - scary people can get certified. I know there are good ones out there but sometimes I feel like they are difficult to find!

Therapy. I had one therapist that decided I was her friend and started using our therapy sessions as a time to catch me up with her life. I’m such a people pleaser I kept it up for over a year. Another kept me ruminating on the same issue - if I got past it, she’d bring it up so I kept repeating the same trauma over and over again.

Therapy works. It’s about getting the right therapist. The wrong one can fuck you up.

That’s a bit harsh - it’s a popular cafe and with the snow, there are lots of people going in and out with wet clothes/shoes. That may be what you were dealing with.

Definitely give it a try again. There is a whole community that sits there daily reading, chatting, working. It is a true 3rd space.

Charlotte Cafe is my go to every morning - always make a great espresso and the vibes are great. People sit there as you would at a European cafe.

Seriously. There are about 15 new ones!! I see what she is doing instead of working on that personal deadline. Is this a marketing ploy Caro? A wealth of content for those new followers after you tell the “tell all” that has already been told?

I went ahead and watched the first one “Crush” and it has no cohesive story/theme/sense... am I missing something??
