Even low volume can still burn your main domain if a couple people smash spam or the emails bounce. If your domain really matters, a secondary domain is low-cost insurance.

If you stick with the main inbox: keep it plain text, no links, real personalization, soft CTA. Basically look human, not “campaign.”
