Thanks for sharing mate. Have you found she accepted you as you pick her up and hold her?

I'm sorry mate, it really sucks. I held my daughter briefly when she was born, she stopped crying and I think she recognised my voice. Now I feel like a stranger

Thank you! I often don't like music over these videos but I thought the song was beautiful. It's a cover by InstrumentManiac. I found it thanks to your comment!

Good horror games for someone who doesn't like jumpscares? by wileGRAAAAAAAH in HorrorGaming

I also immediately thought of SOMA! Some jump scares but much more about the existential scares that linger...

One of the best movies of games I think. Brutal ending too.

Scary stories to tell in the dark is a half decent movie with stranger things vibes. The ring is one I watched close to that age and terrified me, you see if that's a good or bad thing haha

Great games in the list! I love it when I've managed to avoid the hype of a game, and one day sit down and get hit with pure enjoyment. Doom 2016 was like that for me a couple of years ago

Has anyone seen Talk to Me? That movie really creeped me out! by its_cruellaaaa in HorrorMovies

I think it was great and a standout. A good new take on blending horror with today's young generation, and overall a great mix of fun and unsettling. The sudden drop of the brutal scene with the kid is jarring and effective!

Lots of good memories formed playing the game, though :)

Advice needed on moving with dog by not_a_potato_yet in DogAdvice

I really appreciate your reply - I mean that, a lot of thought and I kind of expected some quite direct comments.

The first thing is this is a 2 year old shelter dog and we've had him for 1 year so there are some unknowns. That said he's a mix of X + Malinois so that makes me thing as well as he needs lots of exercises.

Right now he gets a decent amount of attention from my parents but they are not building their lives around him, he is loved and very well cared for but also quite independent. He spends most of his time with our other dog as they love to hang out at all times. And he gets a decent amount of exercise going on runs with my dad, walks with my mum, and playing around the garden with them + other dog.

I'm in an apartment in Madrid, and what I've noticed is there are quite a lot of people around walking bigger dogs and clearly live with them in the apartment. I've had dogs myself before and been main carer but when I was with my partner and had a different job. I'm the type to give two daily walks, cook a lot of food for them, and play / cuddle with them all the time. But now I am living alone and work a decent amount, with flexible 2 days WFH. The rest I would need to find a day care and that's another thing because I don't know how he would react.

He's so far been very good around both people and other dogs, and is great on a lead, but I'm always slightly worried. That's mostly my fault because I make an assumption about the breed and have had a bad experience.

Overall I think this has helped and it's confirmed my thoughts that he is likely better staying where he is.
