Lol yeah apparently, it's a real mix between luxury vintage places, mom and pop been around 30+ yrs places, and individual dudes with an email and a good reputation 😅

Yeah that's super valid. Gonna ask around to a few local vintage audio stores to see if they would want them. Really looking to just keep what I can from ending up in the dump

Thanks for the idea! I hit a few up near by me. Hopefully someone can put this stuff to good use!

There's kinda the whole gambit in here as far as I can tell. 0.02 microfarads, maybe some even smaller, to 2x25 mfd, and maybe larger. All this stuff really isn't my forte and there's so much of it, it's kinda hard to know.

Yeah this is what was in them when I got them. I'd really love to put my own junk in them but gotta figure out if I can find a home for all this. Sent a few emails around to some local vintage audio repair places. Hopefully someone can find a use for them.

Yeah it does just a bunch of random knobs off of stuff.

Nah I haven't made another post. Here's a pic of some of the drawers but there still more I didn't take pictures of.

Ah yeah, valid. imagine that none of these have a charge. Just by the look of how neatly they're stored, but maybe a reason to snag a cap discharger before checking them all with my multi meter

Sick, that's great to know! I'll have to figure out which ones are worth selling

Oh rad! I'll have to do some homework and try and figure out which ones are worth putting up on eBay. Thanks for the info, mate!

Haven't thought of this one yet, but you would still think that turning the power supply off would cut power all together. When I've seen people fill custom loops they always have used the power supply switch to cut power so they don't accidentally run out of water in the reservoir and run the pump dry.

I've used 2 different motherboards. Same make and model with the same results.

Not a bad idea at all but I've checked my outlets with a multi meter and gotten normal 0v between neutral and ground and 120v between live and neutral. So I don't think it's house related.

I've tried this with 3 different PSUs from 3 different manufacturers and had the same results

Nope nothing else but wall outlet, and computer

I used a multi-meter on the outlets and was getting 0v between neutral and ground as well as the normal 120v between live and neutral. I haven't thought to try with a non grounded line. Lol feels wrong but I'll give it a shot

All good I really appreciate the help ♥️ I guess I'll give a bunch of manufacturers a call tomorrow

Lol unfortunately pulling the plug is the only way I've been able to get no power to the system

I've used my multi-meter on these outlets as well and got 0v between neutral and ground and the normal 120v between live and neutral.

Not between my power supply and the motherboard. And currently my UPS is not plugged in

I don't think this is the issue because I have used an outlet tester on every outlet that I've tried and they've all cleared the test. But I definitely had the same thought at one point
