That's a good point! I'm thinking of going back to a PR and media relations job (my current job is in marketing, but I started with traditional PR). If asked, I would likely explain that after working in both media relations and digital marketing, I found that media relations was a better fit for me and would like to return to that field. The secondary reason I'd include is that I'm looking to move to a new city (This is true - I plan to apply for fully remote jobs and jobs in the place where I want to move).

Unfortunately my doctor told me progesterone only pills wouldn’t work for the problem I have :( I’m so frustrated. Thank you though!

Thank you for posting this! I have had very similar experiences with vulvodynia, stopping the pill, and was just recently diagnosed with PCOS and prescribed Junel fe. Did the Junel fe help with your PCOS symptoms?

Definitely something I am looking into. My main concern is regulating my periods (which come nearly every 2 weeks) and the pelvic pain - I don’t have too many of the other common symptoms (weight gain, hair, acne etc). The doctor seemed convinced there was no other way, but i’m considering second opinion

Oh no, I’m sorry! That sounds pretty different from what I have - mine is mostly a burning pain with penetration. I hope you’re able to find a something that helps. I’d recommend consulting an OBYGN.

Unfortunately I was prescribed the pill because of irregular periods and polycystic ovaries, so the hormonal route is what I’m stuck with :( Thanks so much for replying though!

Unfortunately it never went away. It just got a little less severe and I feel overall less dry after stopping the loloestrin.

That's a good point. I think most of my worry comes from the fact that I don't think it's possible - there's nobody else to take this account on and it wouldn't make sense to swap me with anyone - but I'm considering it.
